I have been using the RifleHunter 550 for about a month now and it seems to be very precise. It comes in very handy for bow hunting or slug hunting. Very Satisfied!

Just purchased Nikon's riflehunter 550 camo. Its very compact, very accurate in tests on signs, cars, surfaces in town up to 600, and even gives readings on farther distances if flat surface. In brush and mountain area, it tests great on rocks, soil slopes, etc up to same range with great accuracy. Have not tried on mammals yet, looking fwd to getting some real usage upcoming. Has great coating, crosshair, and overall feel is rugged.

I wanted to get a rangefinder for my husband's birthday. After reading the reviews on the Nikon Riflehunter I chose it. I wasn't disappointed. It did everything I expected and I felt good about the price compared to more expensive rangefinders. The only downfall was that it didn't help us find a spike elk. At least if we had seen one we would know how far it was!!

I use these tubes with a Nikon D5000 with the Nikon 85 mm DX-VR macro lens.
At first, it did not work together at all - neither the autofocus, nor the exposure. Then, strangely enough, after I tried all three tubes after each other a few times, the exposure began to work in aperture mode. Then, as unexpectedly as before, on the next day the autofocus worked. I guess, the camera had to familiarize itself with this new strange equipment. Other than that, I don't have any good explanation for this weird behavior. But now everything works just fine, and the pictures I get with the tubes are stunning.
Other than that, the tubes are made out of plastic, but have a very sturdy look-and-feel to it. The connections to camera and lens are very tight and fit perfectly.
So, you might need a little patience to get these tubes to work, but if they do, the results make the hassle worthwhile.

Let me say after reading other reviews online about this product, my expectations were low. Being that I'm on a budget and that I do very little macro photography I thought I would give them a shot for the price. First the negative. The plastic used for this product is not of "Nikon quality. " (Not even close. ) The contacts where the lens attaches also appear to be of a low quality. With that said, I feel that it is a great product for the price I paid for them. I have complete faith that they will support my Nikkor 105mm VR Micro lens. So much so, I'll sling it over my shoulder on the tripod just as I always have. (And that means something. I really love that glass. ) I've had no connectivity issues as others have described. They simply work. There is no visible weatherproofing and I would not walk around on a rainy day with the tubes attached. With all that said. I think this is a great product for the price. If you want a high-grade weatherproofed product, I'd look somewhere else.

These package of 3 extension tubes worked great from the first time I put one on. I tried the 36mm first. AF no problem on my Nikon 105 mm 2. 8D. I then stacked the 20mm on top of the 36mm Wow what a close up. Then I added the 12mm and oh boy! Super close ups all metering & Af worked just fine. I am using them on my Nikon D 90
You need to be at F32 at least because you have so little depth of field with the extension tubes stacked. But that is what I wanted. You can't beat this price for a set of 3 tubes. The Nikon ones are manual only. The Kenko are a bit better quality but cost 2-1/2 times the price. So if you're like me & want to play around with ultra macro (I mean photographing the hairs on a sugar ant), then this setup works just fine. I feel I got my money's worth. I purchased a 12mm Kenko and that did not have the reach I wanted. I returned the Kenko because the Kenko tube was more $ than all three of the Zeikos ZE-CVAFN Auto Focus Macro Extension Tubes. If you're a hobbyist, or amature, then these tubes work extremely well.

I have a Nikon D700 DSLR and got this lens as a cheap alternative to the Sigma 8mm. In short the lens is great, i had to do a little operation to cut off the hood to get a full 180 degrees on my full frame FX DSLR and it was very easy, simply unscrew the top circular lens element of the lens and cut off the hood, make sure its all clean inside and presto!!! screw it back in and its done.

This lens wont give you a full circular fish eye view on a full frame as the Sigma 8mm will, but it gives you a semicircular, with the horizontal being well over 180 degrees ( you get the full 180 and have some black space to fill the rest of the pic) and about 120 on the vertical, so the circle is cut off on the top, but i love it, it gives me more per pixel resolution than the sigma since i have more picture area and i crop the photos anyway to get rid of the black.

The lens is super sharp and very well built, very very cheap for the superb quality.

A MUST BUY TO GET INTO FULL 360 panoramas.

I use this on my Nikon D300 and it performs wonderfully, taking sharp photos with that unique fisheye look. The manual focus isn't an issue when I set the focus to infinite and unless I'm touching the lens to something, everything is sharp. The only downside is no little white dot to help when putting the lens on the camera body.

I bought this lens a while back and I've used it to create some of my favorite photos, of course you would not use this lens everyday but I will say that I found myself using this lens more often than I expected. The only draw back is that it is fully manual. You have to manually set the aperture externally which I really liked, you dont normally see that these days. Overall, I'd recommend this lens to everyone. You can see some of the photos I've taken with this lens on my [. . . ], CHEERS!!!!
